Thank you to everyone who showed up on Tuesday and voted, and all those that voted early. I’m truly humbled. I would also like to thank board members Lisa Johnston, Dave Nickels, and Meredith Sauer for their years of service to our community. As I’ve done over the course of this campaign period I will continue to embrace and encourage respectful discussions among our community. I will not waiver in my pursuit to improve the measurable quality of education here in Manitowoc, nor will I tolerate the status quo.
I plan to get to work immediately with my peers on the board in making some much needed changes that will increase transparency on our goals and progress, and establish an appropriate structure for accountability. In the same way that I relentlessly pursue excellence in my own business I plan to do the same on our school board for our students and community.
